About the Podcast
There's a moment, maybe you've had it, where something cracks open in you and you don't know what to do with what spills out.
You're not broken. You're not too much. You're just in the middle of becoming something you don't have a name for yet.
Oakland Forest was built for that moment.
It started the way most true things do, with one person who needed it. A hypnosis session recorded for a friend in grief at 2am. A voice memo made because the words on a screen weren't enough. A realization that if she needed to hear it, someone else did too.
So instead of keeping those recordings in a folder, Kristie opened the forest.
This is a living audio library. Not a course you complete, not a program with a graduation date. It's a place you return to. When the grief comes back. When you're rebuilding your identity alongside your business. When you need a voice to hold you while you figure out what you're becoming.
Inside you'll find hypnosis sessions, activations, tapping sequences, NLP audio practices, somatic guides, and more. All recorded from real moments, real breakthroughs, real people who sat across from Kristie and said I didn't know I needed to hear that.
The forest doesn't ask you to be ready. It just asks you to press play.
Named for our kids Ben (Middle name Oaklen) and Landon, because the roots of this place run deeper than any program.

Kristie Crate
Kristie Crate is a Master NLP practitioner, coach, photographer, nurse and builder — of homes, of brands, and of the inner architecture that holds it all together.
She created Oakland Forest the same way she creates everything: because someone needed it, and she knew they weren't alone.
When she's not behind a camera in the wilderness or knee deep in a renovation, she's helping people do the quieter, harder work of rebuilding from within. The audio experiences in this library were born from real sessions, real breakthroughs, and a deep belief that transformation doesn't always announce itself.
Sometimes it arrives in a quiet room, through a voice in your earbuds, at exactly the moment you needed to hear it.
She is also a mother to two boys whose names built the forest you're standing in.
Welcome. You found the right place.
